Submission Guidelines, Rules and Regulations

Submit a TRUE SCARY story of an encounter with the unknown that could be published in the next book of the Thrill-ology:

 

LITTLE BOOK OF BIG EVIL: MORE TRUE TALES OF TERRIFYING ENCOUNTERS

1. By submitting a story, you are giving your permission that your story may be published by psychicfixes.com in book form, electronic form (ie. Kindle and PDF) as well as used for advertising purposes.

2. Even though psychicfixes publishes your story, it still belongs to you.

3. We will include your first name, last name, city and state below your story if you choose to do so.  You can choose to remain “anonymous” as well.

4. You will be listed by name in the Acknowledgments section of the book. If you choose to remain anonymous, it is understood that you will not be in the Acknowledgments section of the book.

5. All entries must be original works, in English.

6. You may be asked to edit your story if any graphic or sexual writing seems inappropriate.

7. Entries must be your own original writing.

8. Entries should be approximately 1,000 words.  We are asking for a two-page, double spaced page with 12-point font used.  The submission form will send approx. 1400 words or 8,000+ characters.  If your story is longer than this, please send in 2 submissions.

9. Entries must be submitted in electronic format via our submission form (read the rules and regulations, then paste your story into the form and send, or you may type your story directly into the submission form.   Form is at the end of this page)

10. Acceptable entry would be typed via WORD document, or you may type your story in the form below but please try to get your story to 1,000 words if you can.

11. This contest runs from July 6th, 2018 to August 24, 2018.  Drawing to be held.  August 25, 2018.

12. Each entrant may submit multiple short stories for this contest, each story is counted as one entry into the grand prize drawing.

13. A random drawing from all entries will be conducted, and the name drawn will win the prize.

14. You may submit multiple entries. Each entry requires one story.  Each story gives you an entry to win the Grand Prize.

15. For marketing sake, psychicfixes may publish parts of stories in advertisements and on websites as well as social media and be read on live broadcasts.

16. The winner will be notified and prizes will be shipped within 14 days of contest end.

17. Psychicfixes reserves the right to publish or not publish any entry.

WHAT:  Psychicfixes is publishing Book 2 in the Thrillology “Little Book of Big Evil”.

         We’d LOVE to publish YOUR story in it!

         We are running a contest and each submitted story will get you an entry into a drawing for the

         Grand Prize!

 

 

WHEN:  Submissions begin Friday July 6th, 2018 and are accepted until August 24th, 2018.  Drawing will take place on August 25th.

 

 

PRIZES:  $50 Visa gift card, Gift certificate for full tarot reading by Debbie Duncan, Gift certificate for full reading by Andy Benson, Tarot deck designed by Andy Benson, a personally autographed photo of a (famous) celebrity courtesy of Debbie Duncan and a signed copy of the new book.  ARV:  $300

Psychicfixes reserves the right to substitute any prize of equal value.
