Astral Projection

Anchor 6

Astral projection allows your spirit to step free for your body, allowing it to explore the world while tethered distantly to your body and able to return.  It is typically considered an advanced technique both because it can be dangerous to be separated from your body, which is a safe place for your spirit, and because stepping free of your body is difficult unless your energy centers are clear.

There are three main stages of an astral journey.

●Stepping free of your body - There are many potential techniques to do this but before you try them, you should practice some techniques to help clear your chakras.  Energy centers that are not working properly can create sticky places between your spirit and your body that can keep you from stepping free easily.

●Remaining aware while you are traveling - The astral projection experience to some can feel a little like sleepwalking away from your body.  You’re along for the ride but not in control.  Learning to stay lucid and in control is vital.  If you have been practicing lucid dreaming, this might feel more natural to you.  Sometimes

●Remembering the experience when you return - Even if you were aware and in control during your astral journey, returning can splinter the experience, making it seem as distant and unreal as a dream.  You haven’t lost the memory of it but you forget.  Work remembering your dreams earlier on in your studies pays off here because training yourself to remember astral experiences is the same process as training yourself to remember dreams.

No matter what specific technique you decide to use, the basics of how to astral project remain the same.

●You must have a strong desire not only to step free of your body but to go exploring.  Fear of the process should be banished.  The body has a strong pull on the spirit so unless you really want to go, you will have trouble separating from your body or you might step out but not be able to leave the room.

●Relaxation.  Your body should be laying comfortably and your mind at rest.  Meditation or something that helps your quiet your thoughts is helpful here.

●Concentration and focus.  Once your mind is quiet of everything except the desire to be free of your body, apply your desired technique.

Usually visualization of the action is enough.  These three are commonly suggestions.

○Roll out of your body and out of the bed.

○Reach out to some solid object, grip it, and slowly pull yourself free.

○Simply sit up in bed, leaving your body behind.

●Patience.  Use the same process every time you practice for at least a month.  Try it every day or every other day at the same time.  At first, nothing may seem to happen.  Then you might step out of your body only to be pulled right back.  In time, you’ll learn to travel.

What's an Aura & How do you see them?

Anchor 2

Auras are generally thought of as an energy field that surrounds a person.  Your auric body is connected to your chakras and usually perceived as layers related to the health of each chakra.  It reflects the current state of your energy and emotions and in many cases, also carries echoes of previous emotional states that were not properly grounded.  Perceiving other people’s auras is useful because it allows you insight into their current emotional and physical state. This allows you to be more understanding about what they’re experiencing so that you can help them or just not take their mood personally and also gives you a great lie detector.  Perceiving your own aura can give you similar insight into yourself.  If you’re going to do spellwork, this is important because noticing the state of your own energy allows you to align it with what you would like to accomplish.

Some people who can perceive auras also notice auras around objects.  These auras show energy or emotions  involved in an object’s creation.  Objects sometimes pick up the energy or emotions of the room they’re in or the people who come in contact with them.  Those are reflected in the object’s aura as well.  This is important to notice because the energy an object holds might affect your personal energy when you are in contact with it or if you’re trying to do spellwork with it, could skew your spell.

You probably already are sensing auras but you don’t pay attention to that information because of the other sensory input around you.  A common misconception is that auras are always something that is seen.  They are really sensed via an additional 6th sense.  If you’re not used to processing that information directly, your mind is likely to offer the data through one of your other 5 senses to give you a way to interpret it.  You might feel a vibration, see colors or motion, hear tones or even smell an aura.

It is possible to focus this response and channel the information into the sense you prefer to use.  Most people DO prefer to use their sense of sight as sight is many people’s strongest sense.  To do this, settle in a quiet room with few distractions.  If you are working on perceiving your own aura or an object’s aura, being alone works best.  If you are working on seeing the aura of others, being in a place where you can observe people without interacting is the most effective.  Sitting in a library reading room or a college lecture hall or at the bus stop works well.  Often viewing auras works best when you practice looking for them in your peripheral vision or by unfocusing your eyes.  A common technique for unfocusing is to stare at two dots about an inch apart until a third dot appears between them.  Then, holding that, look towards the aura you’re trying to perceive.    It takes practice to pay attention to auras because you are used to dismissing that information as not important the same way you ignore other common things in your environment.

Noticing auras is often the first step to energy-based healing techniques as you cannot alter what you don’t perceive.  When you change an aura, your own or someone else’s, you are making real changes to a person, which is why energy healing is so effective.

Now we talked about why sensing auras is helpful and some beginner techniques for doing that with sight.

Here are some aura attributes to consider no matter how you sense them:

  • General shape

    • Fuzzy aura boundaries usually indicate poor personal boundaries for some reason.  These people may be uncomfortable saying ‘no’ or might be used to being very dependent on others.  These people often don’t know who they are without others and may be catching a lot of emotional spillover from other people in their vicinity.

    • Walls are often seen with people who are defensive.  Defensiveness on an energy level happens when someone feels like they are under attack or they are very afraid.   Often sensitive empaths seem walled off because they are trying to block out all of the input from people around them.  They might not be having much success but they’re trying.

    • Spiky or sharp seeming auras often belong to people with a history of abuse.  They’re ready to hurt others to keep themselves from being hurt.  Unlike people with walls, who are usually purely defensive, people with spiky auras have a high potential to lash out, often unintentionally.

    • A Healthy Aura is typically neutral.  It has clearly defined edges as boundaries but it is not attempting to hide behind a wall or projecting aggressively.  The person will typically be a balanced individual.

  • Aura Position

    • In Front - The aura is often temporarily ahead of someone who is rushing or in a hurry.  If it is ahead of them longer term, they may be so focused on the future that they can’t enjoy the present or even pay much attention to it.

    • Behind - People with their aura lingering behind them may be dwelling on their past mistakes or triumphs.  They may not be letting themselves move on for a variety of reasons or could be holding themselves back out of fear.

    • Above - These people may be trying to escape their problems or avoid life.  This is often commonly seen in people who approach life in a purely intellectual way, dismissing their emotions.

    • Centered - These individuals are in the now and have a balanced view that includes some past and some future vision.  They can have plans without rushing towards them and consider the past without dwelling there.  They still honor the present moment.

  • Aura Size

    • Large and spread way out - Could indicate a desire to assert control over others in the vicinity or have them feel the person’s emotions.  It could also be the sign of someone spread too thin in other areas, not keeping enough for themselves.  They may not have a strong ability to focus on their own life.

    • Thin and tight to the body - Most often caused by fear or something depleting their energy without replacing it.  This shuts down a person’s energy flow and can cause them to feel drained of energy.

    • Absent (maybe above, behind, in front or maybe appearing to be gone entirely) - People who are astral-traveling may look this way and it’s generally not a problem for short periods of time.  In the long term if the body is still obviously being used, it usually indicates someone who is very unhappy in the present or in so much pain that they want to escape.  They don’t want to be connected to their own body but eventually they have to face whatever the problem is.

    • Personal Bubble - A healthy aura is usually spread about an arm’s length around the body and evenly balanced.  Additional energy drawn in with purpose will be reflected in increased intensity, not size.

    • Mid-Size auras that are only half an arm’s length are usually seen for short times on very focused people.  It reflects an inner drawing in of strength for a specific purpose.

  • Aura dynamics between people or within a group

    • Blurred Boundaries - It appears to be one large fuzzy aura shared by two or more people with no separation or distinct differences.  This may appear between two people when they have changed themselves to be more compatible with a person.  It may also be present in a large group when group-think or herd dynamics are happening.

    • Dominating or controlling - One aura might be trying to assert itself over another when one person is trying to control others either directly or indirectly.  This might look like one aura trying to swallow the other like an amoeba of light moving around a foreign body if you sense auras visually.  Or, conversely, like a parent with a child, one aura could be attempting to shelter/protect the other.

    • Tangled together - Highly sensitive people especially seem to attract others’ emotions.  Their aura may appear to be tangled with others or even have stray bits from other’s auras sitting on it’s surface.  This is not a healthy situation and leaves the person who experiences it at the mercy of the emotions of others until they learn to firm up their boundaries and get rid of the unwanted pieces.

    • Healthy Boundaries - People with healthy balanced relationships who are both complete in themselves will have auras that press together but remain distinct from each other.

These things are often noticed no matter how people sense auras and paying attention to them can give you a lot of valuable information to help yourself and others.  For instance, someone whose aura is lagging far behind isn’t very focused on the present or the future and may not plan well.  Knowing that lets you compensate in day to day life or gives you the potential to aid them in becoming more centered.

If you perceive auras visually, continue to the next article in this series (link to aura colors page/post) to learn more about commonly seen colors and potential meanings.

For people who perceive auras using sight, here is a list of commonly seen colors and potential meanings.  Keep in mind that the colors can show as bands or blotches or in many ways.  People’s auras primarily reflect their own emotions and energies but they can pick up junk from their surroundings, especially if they don’t know how to ground or are highly sensitive.  Highly sensitive people are like velcro for the emotions of others.

● is often associated with first chakra energies and emotional reactions.  It is commonly associated with base emotions - our senses of safety and survival as well as physical sexual responses.

● is commonly associated with feminine energies such as tenderness, self-love.  It can also indicate a person who is very giving to the point of harming themselves.

● tends to be about emotional self-expression, creativity, and vitality.  Muddied or darkened, it can indicate lack of these things.

● to some people can indicate mental alertness and clarity of thought.  Others see it as a reflection of happiness and optimism.  Some who follow the chakra system see it as a reflection of social behaviors and reactions because third chakra is yellow. (note: link to chakra page might be useful here)

●, like yellow, can have a lot of potential meanings.  If you’re using the chakra system of interpretation, it can be about love, nurturing, and healing.  If your experiences and associations with ‘green’ are different you may see it as new beginnings and growth or potentially as jealousy.

● is most frequently associated with verbal expression, flexible thinking, and organization.  Some associate certain tones of blue with sadness while others see sadness in tones of yellow (emotional reactions being a second chakra phenomenon)

● is intuition and innate wisdom when it is associated with the third eye or can show blockages based on tone.  Some see purple as controlling or authoritative energies.

●is commonly associated with male energies such as being practical, grounded in real-world work, and focused on solutions rather than the emotional aspects of processing.

● can indicate dark intentions.  It can shadow other colors in warning about unresolved issues.  Some people interpret it as feelings of grief, loss, or hatred.

● is typically seen as religious energies.  Clear and bright probably indicates balance and harmony with the universe and spiritual pursuits.  These individuals are whole within themselves.  Cloudy white can indicate people who are blocked or not being truthful with themselves about their real spiritual beliefs.

Remember two things as you consider the information above.  First, you’re not really seeing auras.  You’re sensing them and your mind is using sight as a way for you to process the information.  In a way, the colors you see are just as much about you as it is about the person or object you’re looking at.  What does that color mean to you?  That specific shade?  Your past experiences and history matter to how you interpret data.  After reading the list here and discussing it and maybe looking in different places, make your own list about what they mean to you .  Your mind will try to show you what it senses in a way you’ll understand.  The second thing is don’t rely on just your eyes.  Listen to your intuition and your feelings to help you interpret what you see/sense.

Automatic Writing

Anchor 7

Automatic writing is a practice that has been documented as far back as the 1800’s and may have been practiced long before that.  Essentially, the writer clears their mind while holding a writing utensil to a piece of paper.  Sometimes they ask questions.  Sometimes they just wait to see what will be communicated.  The process is a cousin to both automatic drawing, which is sometimes done as part of the automatic writing process, and using a ouija board.

Steps:

1.  Choose a quiet environment where you can sit comfortably with minimal distractions.

2.  Set out a piece of paper and hold a pen or pencil.

3.  Clear your mind, as in meditation, discarding excess thoughts and preconceptions.  Some people do this in a trance state but that is not       usually necessary and can be difficult for a beginner to achieve.

4.  Ask your questions or just wait to see what you write.

5.  You may not always like the information revealed but if you feel threatened or unsafe during the process, stop immediately and cleanse the area.

Automatic writing is usually seen by believers as a form of channeling.  Believers say that a spirit or ghost is speaking through the person participating in the process.  People who have done it report feeling like someone else was using their hand.  Some say that the knowledge conveyed is limited to what the ghost doing the communicating knows.  Others feel like the spirits can tap into a larger knowledge pool to answer questions put to them in this way.

Sceptics of the process say that even if the person doing it isn’t consciously writing, automatic writing is just their subconscious speaking to them rather than an otherworldly entity.  People who do not believe in spirits will sometimes engage in automatic writing as a form of therapy and self-knowledge.

When the spirits speak, however they choose to communicate, we should consider their words.  Even if it is just your subconscious speaking, automatic writing can still give you deep insights into yourself and the world around you.

Clairvoyance

Anchor 8

Clairvoyance is often referred to as ‘second sight’ or ‘clear vision.’  It is an intuitive form of seeing and isn’t a very dramatic psychic gift.  Often the impressions, which take the form of pictures in the mind’s eye, are usually not meant to be taken literally.  People who first experience clairvoyance are often just confused and uncertain by what they see.

Like any psychic gift, it can be present without training but training and practice can greatly improve accuracy and understanding.    Meditation and emotional work to clear the energy centers allows more information to flow through this conduit.  It’s important for even experienced clairvoyants to remember that they are only seeing parts of the puzzle.  They may see someone appearing to betray a friend, for instance, but it may turn out that they were spreading misinformation to protect the friend.

Other forms of ‘clair’ type abilities are:

● Clear hearing.  They may hear voices or sounds from far away, too far for normal senses.  Sometimes they hear conversations from the past or snatches of potential future conversations.  Like a clairvoyant, they must remember that not everything they sense this way is as it seems.  Words taken out of context often don’t convey their intended meanings.

● or just empathy is when someone tunes into the emotions of others so clearly that those emotions feel like their own.  Empaths can be great healers because they perceive those emotions strongly and in perceiving them, they are able to change that perception, helping people cope with great emotional strains.

● This form is often also called psychometry.  The person experiences information about an object or person’s present, past, or future when they touch it.  Often people with strong clairtangency go out of their way to avoid touching people and items.  Some wear gloves but others just hold themselves apart.

Crystals

Anchor 9

Crystals are formed underground in a slow process.  Their atoms repeat a pattern of a specific mineral, depending what is available in the soil, and the crystal grows.  Some are small, some are large.  Some form over thousands of years and some, like sugar crystals in a glass only take a few weeks.  The repeating chemical structure of crystals is considered an excellent place to store power and is often thought of as a type of memory.

Different types of crystals are used for different purposes.  Tiger’s Eye for clarity.  Rose Quartz for calming.  Sunstone for decreased stress.  The list is long and can be found many places online.  There is no need to memorize it or even worry about it.  Such lists are crutches for beginners only.  Once your intuition begins to develop, you’ll be able to touch the stones (or hold them in your mind if you’re looking at them online) and feel out which ones will be the most use for the things you want to do with it.

You can fill a crystal with positive feelings and healing to help on your darker days.  Or you could use the natural tendencies in the crystal to help you shift your own energies in that direction.  You could also drain you negative energy into one.  They can be used to store spells or absorb the feelings in a room that you would like to remove.  Once filled with darker negative emotions, the crystals should be cleansed before attempting to use them for other purposes.  It is an easy process.

Crystals are commonly cleansed by placing them in running water, like a stream for a few days.  Other methods include:  sitting in a dish of fresh water outside overnight, soaking in salt water for a few days and then rinsing them off, or burying them in the earth for a few days.  These things reset the memory of the crystal to zero and it should feel neutral again.

Deja Vu

Anchor 14

Deja Vu, also called paramnesia, describes the feeling of having already experienced a certain situation.  The experience feels at once familiar and strange, adding to the feeling that you’ve already been there and done that thing before.  The term was coined by Émile Boirac, a French psychic researcher.

Some believe that deja vu is the result of experiencing a situation that God had warned you about some time in the past.  Others believe that they dreamed about the future situation and only remembered when the things lined up together, creating the sensation.  Sceptics tend to claim that it’s just a memory of a past situation that was similar but that doesn’t completely explain the feeling.

It is a common sensation that has been experienced by approximately two-thirds of adults.  Psychologists believe that the phenomenon is a sign of stress and hidden internal conflict because it is often seen in people who experience high levels of anxiety.  The other side of that is often the people who are most psychically sensitive experience high levels of anxiety so it’s hard to prove causation.  Only correlation exists and we’re not sure what it means.

Deja Vu experiences in the psychic community are typically viewed as an early sign of gifts that have not yet been harnessed and trained to interpret those visions of the future.  Instead, they only notice when the future thing is happening that they knew beforehand.  It is also sometimes the hallmark of past-life experiences lining up with present-life experiences.

Whenever the feeling occurs, pay attention to it.  It means something even if you are not quite sure what it means.  You should write down these deja vu experiences to see if a pattern emerges and you can investigate them during meditation or trance states.

Ghosts, Spirits, and Specters

Anchor 3

Spirits can be helpful or harmful or neutral.  Some are tied to a place while others are free to roam.  A few have free will but most are only echoes of the past.  No matter what they are or how they began, they’re a part of our world and it’s helpful to understand them.

Below are 5 commonly seen types of spirits and ghosts.

●Spirits that never had bodies - These entities that were never human might see humans as interesting.  They could be helpful like angels or familiar spirits, neutral like doppelgangers which are spirit copies of people roaming the world, or dangerous, like the etheric revenant who feed on human emotions and were the the original inspiration for the vampire mythos.

●Ghost Objects - These are echoes of buildings or objects that are gone but before they were destroyed, they had absorbed enough emotional energy to create a ghost.  Old buildings or churches that burned down are often seen as ghostly images where they used to be, sometimes overlapping a new building built in that location.  Another example is the Flying Dutchman,

●Residual Ghost - This ghost is most common in historic settings such as battlefields and old homes.  They may be stationary, just sitting staring out the window for instance, or moving in a way that is like a recording on a loop.  They do the same things over and over and don’t really notice who might be around or any modern changes.

●Guardians - These ghosts used to be human and are commonly seen by their surviving family members.  They have free will and are rarely tied to a place.  They will sometimes communicate with their family members and try to prevent misfortunes.

●Animal ghosts - These can be the same types as human ghosts but they are rarer.  Animals are more accepting of life and death so they linger less frequently.  In most cases where there is an animal ghost, it is a devoted dog who has stayed to watch over their person or returns when their person is near death to guide their person onward.

We’re not alone in the world.  We’re surrounded by spirits who never knew what it was to be human and ghosts of the past.  Understanding them gives us insight into ourselves and can give us comfort.  While we can’t know what happens after death, and that may vary based on religion, ghosts tell us that there’s something else out there.

Past Lives  aka  Reincarnation

Anchor 10

Reincarnation is the belief that after death, the spirit lives on and returns in a new body.  The spirit moves on to a new body to experience new things or learn different lessons after it has had a brief period to rest.  Some religions believe that a spirit’s past karma determines what life it will have next.  Others believe that the spirit chooses its new life based on what it wants to experience next.  Everything in life, good and bad, teaches us things that the spirit may want to learn.

The study of past lives arises from this belief in reincarnation.  If your spirit was here before in a different body or has lived multiple lives in many different times depending on its age, wouldn’t you want to know about those things consciously?  The spirit has trouble accessing those memories while it is in a body but it carries the memories with it and they can be found.

Sometimes we remember our past lives in dreams or nightmares.  Other times the sense of deja vu is our cue that this thing has happened to our spirit before.  You may feel an affinity for a culture you’ve never lived in or have fears that have no basis in your current life.

Some people allow themselves to be hypnotized to remember past lives.  Sometimes a strong clairvoyant with an affinity for the past can pick up traces of your past lives or someone good at channeling may notice that you’re being followed by spirits that were important to your past life rather than your present life.  Many people worry about relying on others for this and seek the answers within themselves in a trance state or with self-hypnosis.

Here are the basics of self-hypnosis to remember a past life:

1.  Get comfortable - Lay or sit comfortably in a supportive chair.  Background noise such as TV static, a fan, or a CD of ocean waves can be more beneficial than absolute silence.  It gives you a sign that these sounds are now.

2.  Relax and find your calm center.  This is just like meditation.  Just breathe and discard excess thoughts and be in the now.

3  .Feel that safe warm place.  Bathe yourself in white light or use another visualization to see yourself in that safe place.

4.  Open a door from your safe place and see yourself walking down a long hallway into the past.  See each door as a past life.  Choose one and open it.

5.  Accept the first thing you see or sense from there and welcome that information.  You’ll gradually see more and more.  If you become frightened, just close the door and follow your hallway back to your safe place.  Nothing from the past can hurt you now.  It is only memory, only information.

6  .Be patient.  Often the first few attempts will end with you stuck in the hallway.  If you are unable to open a particular door, you may be afraid of that life or not yet ready to remember that one.  Rather than being discouraged, just note which door it was and move on to a different one.

It’s important to remember that self-hypnosis is not something that should happen every day.  There should be at least 48 hours between sessions.  As eager as you may be to learn about your personal past, it’s important not to try too hard or build up preconceptions about what you wish your life had been like. Remember, more people were servants and serfs than princes.

Omens

Anchor 20

Throughout history, people have observed seemingly random daily events such as the path of a bird’s flight, noticed more significant things happening soon after that they correlate to the earlier event, and recorded or remembered the initial warning signs so they knew what to watch for in the future. Belief in omens goes back thousands of years. The first evidence of humans interpreting omens is found on Babylonian and Assyrian tablets. Many civilizations and cultures since then have records of the practice. Later cultures in parts of the world that were not influenced by Babylonian and Assyrian culture developed their belief in omens independently. The independent adoption of the practice of looking for omens across multiple unrelated cultures leads to the conclusion that interpreting omens is accurate and useful enough that it should be employed in daily life.

Traditional omens include things like the path of a bird’s flight or the placement of a spider web. Common familiar omens that originate in Greece include that a tingle in your hand indicates dealing with money or that a ringing in your ear means somethings is being said about you. They refine those further by which hand is tingling or which ear is ringing indicating whether those things are good or bad.  More modern omens could come in the lyrics of songs or the behavior of your pet. The most important thing to remember is that everything is connected. Everything matters.

Going through life paying attention to potential omens and interpreting their meaning requires a high level of mindfulness first. You need to be in the present moment, paying attention to what is happening around you.  Then you start by simply looking back at those things. Did that song on the radio correlate to someone from the past coming back into your life? Did the dog’s morning antics predict that your day at work would be more difficult than usual? These are good observations to record in your book of shadows or in a journal. Once you build up a mental or written database of correlations, you can then begin to apply what you know to be prepared for or even attempt to avert future occurrences.

Reiki

Anchor 13

Reiki is a form of energy healing that focuses on bringing the body’s energy centers into balance.  It roughly translates to, “spiritually guided life force energy.”

From the outside, it appears to be a passive laying on of hands.  The practitioner will place their hand or hands on an energy center and focus, holding their intent for 1-5 minutes depending on the total session length and the goal of treatment.

Reiki practitioners are rarely also doctors.  They are spiritual healers and as such, they do not give medical advice.  Reiki is typically used for:

●Anxiety

●Pain, including headaches

●Medication side effects

●Nausea

●Improving sleep patterns or amount.

●To promote healing after an illness, injury, or surgery

●To relieve emotional blockages and promote mental health in conjunction with the medical healing process.

●General energy balancing for someone who is embarking on a new spiritual venture.

Reiki sessions can take place while the client being worked on is sitting in a chair or lying down on.  They are often done fully clothed in thin clothing but some reiki practitioners may ask a client to disrobe to their comfort level, like they would for a massage.

During a session, the clients may experience sensations of heat, cold, vibration, buzzing, itchiness or drowsiness.  Some report that they felt nothing during a session but still experienced positive changes after the session.  What you notice will depend on your sensitivity level and the skill level of the practitioner.

Most Reiki practitioners who are easy to find have attended teaching programs.  In the programs, reiki masters are attuned to energies by their master teacher during the learning process.  Each advancement of training to a new level gets a new level of attunement.  These training programs are not strictly necessary if you want to try Reiki work on yourself.  You only need to be able to sense energy flow and learn the correct hand positions.  There are many videos online with details.  If you want to try reiki on others, formal training is safer and has many benefits.

Telepathy, the transmission of thoughts from one being to another, is one of those basic skills that everyone is capable of learning.  Thought doesn’t necessarily mean the communication will happen in words, it could be mental pictures, sounds, emotions or just general impressions.  While most people think of telepathy as human to human transmission, it is also possible to trade thoughts with spirits and willing non-human animals though their thoughts and impressions about things will seem very strange to a human mind.

When considering whether you’d like to develop your abilities with telepathy, it’s important to examine your motivations.  They reason you want to do something matters a lot in psychic skills.  Telepathy is a gift that is easily misused so being sure that you’re truly learning for ethical reasons is important.  Misuse of this or any psychic gift can stunt your growth and development.

Here are the general steps to practice to learn:

●  Tune out the physical body.  It does not participate and can be a distraction from the purely mental exercise of telepathy.  If you already             meditate, you are probably already at this step.

●  Run through whatever basic diagnostic you use and be sure that your own energy body is in a good state.  It should be clear and you should     know what the energy that is you feels like.

●  Reach out to the energy of the consciousness you want to connect with and see what you find or try to specifically share a certain thing.               Keep focused on the specific things you’d like to share and allow your energies to merge and become a bridge for communication to                     happen.

●  Separate yourself from them mentally, seeing yourself as a distinct entity again.

It takes practice but you can learn.  Keep in mind that while everyone is capable of passing a baseball around, not everyone can pitch in a professional baseball game.  It takes a combination of skill and relentless practice to be very good at telepathy but to gain basic proficiency is possible for everyone.
